A Community Celebration Marked the Opening of the Kalmar Depot
At Christmas, we announced that we would be opening a location in Kalmar, and today it turned into a true community celebration as 1,017 construction workers celebrated our grand opening in Kalmar. Markus, Jonas, Hampus, Filip, Mikael, and Johan are the team that set up the pit, with Tom’s tireless support. Thank you to everyone who came, and thank you, Kalmar, for the team we’ve put together in your city. Halli Galli, let’s go!
Like a string of pearls, the machine suppliers framed the courtyard, where kebabs, contests, and giveaways mingled with machine demonstrations and reunions from days gone by. Today, many people met up with former colleagues and acquaintances and had the opportunity to catch up while also checking out our extensive range of machines and services.
– It was really great that so many people wanted to celebrate our launch here in the city. “Now we’re going to make the most of this and make sure to show them how we can support them in their day-to-day construction work,” says Johan Fransson, site manager at Renta Kalmar.
A team built in a style reminiscent of KFF in 2008
Our very own Nanne Bergstrand is our regional manager in Småland, Tom Hansen. The Kalmar native has put together a team that is hungry and energetic, and it reminds me a lot of the team that won the gold for KFF 18 years ago.
– Site Manager Johan is the epitome of reliability, and his calm demeanor allows Sales Rep Hampus to take risks and be a little more spontaneous. Then there are our inside sales representatives, Markus and Jonas, who have joined us from other branches on opposite coasts, and their expertise provides a very solid foundation. Rounded out by Mikael, our driver, who knows every nook and cranny of the city, and Filip, our curious mechanic, who’s willing and able to fix anything. “It feels really good; now we ‘just’ have to prove it to our customers, too,” says Tom Hansen, regional manager in Småland.
