Rent Hoists & cranes

There are often stages in a construction project where you may need to work above ground level. There are many factors that influence the choice of lift; with a wide range of equipment and extensive experience, Renta can help you find the right solution. Hire your aerial work platforms and cranes from us. There are many things to consider when choosing aerial work platforms and cranes. Perhaps first and foremost, what you’ll be using them for. What lifting capacity do you need, and what lifting height is required? The surroundings and the ground conditions also play a part. For example, are there any obstacles in the way, is there access to electricity, or do you need special permits? If you need to be able to manoeuvre the lift easily, it might be best to hire a vehicle-mounted lift. Needs are therefore both numerous and varied, and to ensure we can provide the best solution for every project, Renta offers a wide range of lifts and mobile work platforms. We don’t just hire out the equipment; we’re also happy to assist you right from the start with project planning, followed by the transport of the lift, on-site assembly, and ongoing adjustments and servicing throughout the project. Once the project is complete, we also handle transport back to our depot.

A consistent focus on safety

Working at height requires a clear focus on safety right from the moment you choose a lift. There are many factors that affect safety on a construction site, such as ground conditions, traffic, weather and wind. Our staff are trained and certified in this type of work to ensure you feel safe and to minimise the risk of accidents.

Working at height requires training

Training and knowledge significantly reduce the risk of accidents at work. As well as plant hire, Renta also offers a range of training courses for those in the construction and civil engineering sectors. For work above ground level, our ‘Lift’ course is designed for those who use lifting equipment at work, such as load securers or signalmen, as well as our Fall Protection course, which is particularly relevant as there are requirements for fall protection equipment even when working in a lift if there is a risk of collision or if the work takes place in a traffic environment.

Find your nearest depot

From the West Coast to Northern Europe
What began over 40 years ago as a depot on the West Coast is now a nationwide company with local depots stretching from Malmö to the Mälardalen region. We know that when you need to hire tools and machinery, it’s often at short notice – which is why Renta has deliberately chosen to maintain large stock levels with a wide range of equipment. This allows us to keep the hire process both simple and secure for you as a customer.

Renting rather than buying

Renting rather than buying has many advantages. You avoid having to make large investments in tools, machinery or site huts that you only use occasionally. One of the biggest advantages is that you always have access to the latest and most modern equipment. If access is also both easy and flexible, this leads to better results and more efficient workflows for you.

Avoid work interruptions and delays to your schedule

When a need arises, it often needs to be resolved quickly. Whether you need to hire a drill for an afternoon or a cherry picker for half a year, it should be a straightforward process. As Renta’s depots operate both locally and in close collaboration, we find solutions for every need. If the drill isn’t available at Ringön, it’ll be at Sisjön – and we’ll make sure it gets to you.

We’re here to help you succeed

Renta evolves in line with our customers’ needs and wishes. The equipment you need to hire should always be in the right place at the right time. Each depot is run as an independent unit, with responsibility, decision-making and initiative based on local needs. We do not burden our colleagues’ and customers’ days with unnecessary reporting, bureaucracy or anything else that isn’t absolutely essential. Instead, you’ll find short decision-making processes and a high level of commitment at your depot. You tell us what you need – we suggest the best solution. It doesn’t have to be any more complicated than that.
