Renta is the data controller for personal data concerning customers and suppliers that Renta collects and processes in connection with its operations. Renta processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.
Renta processes personal data concerning customers and suppliers—such as names and contact details—including details used as references on customer invoices issued to corporate clients.

Renta processes personal data for the purpose of fulfilling agreements entered into between Renta, the customer, and suppliers.
Personal data belonging to customers and suppliers may be transferred to third parties in order to fulfill agreements entered into between Renta, the customer, and the supplier, either in whole or in part. However, these companies are granted access only to the personal data necessary for them to fulfill their obligations, and they enter into agreements with the company and the supplier in which they commit not to use the personal data for other purposes.

How long Renta stores personal data

Renta stores personal data only for as long as necessary. Personal data required under the Accounting Act is retained for seven years from the accounting date. Other personal data is retained as long as it remains relevant to Renta, as long as Renta’s interest outweighs any inconvenience to the customer and supplier, or until a request for the deletion of personal data is received by Renta.

Your rights

The customer and the supplier have the right to request, free of charge, information about or the correction of personal data concerning them that is processed by Renta. The customer also has the right to restrict the processing of personal data, request that processing cease, and obtain the personal data they have provided to Renta in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as the right to transfer this data to another data controller without hindrance from Renta.
