The Vänersborg Depot is moving out of its one-room apartment and will soon be moving into a manor house
We’re not so small anymore in “Little Paris”; the years on Parallellgatan have just gotten more and more cramped. Eventually, we couldn’t say no to a move—to the sports center, or right next to it, at 14 Tenggrenstorpsvägen. We’ve received the keys, and the space is now being adapted to our operations. The move will take place in mid-May, and that’s when you’ll find us and all our equipment there.
“It’s like putting a bowl of candy on the table and telling the kids, ‘In May, you can take some from it.’” Kristian Lidbeck, our sales representative in Vänersborg, sums up exactly how the entire depot is feeling right now. There’s a sense of anticipation, but also a lot to take care of ahead of the move. Because while Timmy and the gang will be renting out machines as usual at the old address, their new home needs to be renovated and set up. The reason they’re moving from their little hovel to their grand castle hall is evident in Timmy’s sigh.
“We’re getting a farm—that’s all there is to it—and we’re getting facilities with no steps between the customer reception area and the workshop: in other words, we’re getting facilities that are fully tailored to our operations. It feels really good,” says Timmy Åsberg, site manager at Renta Vänersborg.
In April 2022, we opened here on Parallellgatan, and over the years we’ve had the opportunity to support more and more builders in the city. We’ve now outgrown our old space and look forward to continuing to grow alongside our customers from Tenggrenstorpsvägen 14. The move is scheduled for May—keep an eye out for our announcement, and we’ll make sure your navigation app knows where to find us once we’ve moved.
