Now we’re heading home to Kalmar

You read that right—a poorly kept secret has finally been revealed. We’re moving back to Kalmar. Just a stone’s throw from the E22 (!) and right next door to Dahl and Rexel , we’ll be opening the doors to all of Sweden’s machines at Tjuvbackevägen 5 this March. But Tom needs help. Would you like to join us in building up Renta in Kalmar?

Halli Galli Kalmar! Hats off to the energy in this city of soccer, hockey, Ironman, and floorball. We tried to sneak in an opening line here, but it’s impossible when you’re asking about our machines. We can’t keep driving them all the way from Oskarshamn anymore, so we’re already setting up shop at Tjuvbackevägen 5—and it’s possible we might have a soft opening before March. Keep an eye on our Instagram posts and follow @rentakalmar to follow our journey.

– It feels really good to be coming home to Kalmar, and I’ll need all the help I can get here. If you’re brimming with curiosity and have a passion for machines, you’re warmly welcome to join us. If you’re the type who can build Kalmar in your sleep and loves finding solutions—then you should definitely apply to join us, says Tom Hansen, Regional Manager at Renta Småland.

This is where Kvastastan’s best team will be built

To be able to provide our customers with the right machine, at the right time, and at the right place, we need the right people on our team. Our regional manager from Småland—who, fittingly, also lives in Kalmar—is now putting together a team of five to support Kalmar’s development.

“I’ve hired an inside sales representative from Renta who, as it happens, was planning to move to Kalmar. Markus’s experience at Renta will serve as a backbone that everyone else can rely on. The rest of the team will be Kalmar residents who want to help build a depot from the ground up,” says Tom.

Renta Kalmar is looking for:

When are we opening? We’re aiming for March 2026.
