Not even the snow could keep Bygg-Mjölby at home when we kicked off the season

The “Potato” turned orange today as 228 construction workers drove past it on their way to our grand opening of the Mjölby depot. Since the merger with Tornby Construction Equipment last fall, the site has been rebranded, and site manager Emil, mechanic Henrik, inside sales rep Johan, and our sales representative Mikael have been testing out new systems. But they also report that many aspects of their daily work have become much simpler.

Winter still has a firm grip on Mjölby, and the grill warmed up even the most frozen among us. The quiz walk had 171 participants, and our equipment suppliers hosted their usual games, including the air-purifier box and the “guess the number of candy cars in the jar” game. Scandcran demonstrated its conveyor, and many familiar faces stopped by to chat with the crew at the pit. A partnership between Renta and TBM is to be celebrated in just this way.

– Of course, the change made me feel a little uncertain, and time will always tell how things actually turn out when you become part of something bigger. Even though we’ve already noticed a few things that have simplified the entire rental process, and now we suddenly have access to all the equipment throughout Sweden. It feels good that we can provide Mjölbybyggarna with that level of accessibility,” says Emil Damberg, site manager at Renta Mjölby.
