Maxmodules are only getting bigger and more powerful in Lycksele
Maxmoduler builds the shed you need and has delivered 1,167 sheds to us over the years. Sheds where you can relax, plan, or sleep. All of our installation supervisors went on a long-awaited field trip and celebrated Maxmoduler’s expansion.
The ceilings are high, and every square centimeter counts; here, Henry Ford’s assembly line principle has been adapted to northern Swedish pine processing in the true spirit of shed-building. Since last spring, the expansion has brought all staff and materials together in one place (again). Despite an unreliable construction market, Maxmoduler has found a formula and a way of working that has actually allowed them to increase their shed production. We know why—because one thing that’s crystal clear up here is that they really listen. They know they’re only as good as their latest shed.
– That’s certainly true. We know how to build a high-quality booth, but it’s the people who use it who know how it can be adapted and improved. That’s incredibly important. Right now, you’re the client, but the end customer is someone else entirely, so it’s crucial that we also trust you to bring us your customers’ challenges and opinions. Our success doesn’t hinge solely on this visit; we have ongoing check-ins and gather a lot of feedback weekly from all corners of the country, says Johan Olofsson, CEO of Maxmoduler.
The first booth was built in 2007
Maxmoduler’s 20th anniversary is just around the corner, and we certainly don’t take things for granted. Of course, there are other shed builders in this country, and if you haven’t had a chance to have breakfast in a Maxmodul shed yet, we’ll make sure you get to do so the next time you rent a shed.
– Our fleet of 5,800 site offices includes brands such as Moelven, Kubly, and Maxmoduler. “Don’t worry about there being several different manufacturers—you won’t notice the difference once you’re inside the shed. Industry standards are high, and today, only energy-efficient sheds are built,” says Billy Edman, Product Manager for Sheds at Renta.
Housing prices have remained the same since the 1980s
A classic saying in the construction industry is that a day’s rent for a construction trailer has always been around 80 SEK. Sometimes it’s more expensive, sometimes cheaper, depending on both supply and demand, but the price hasn’t exactly risen like the cost of coffee, movie tickets, or gas. On the other hand, there are more and more cost-saving measures being implemented regarding electricity consumption at construction sites.
“It covers everything from insulation to what drives the installation. Here we have Himoinsa’s EHR 45/60, which is incredibly interesting—not just because it’s a stable, massive battery, but because it saves you a lot of money on the bottom line,” Billy concludes.
The rental companies also wish to clarify that, at present, no storage units have been classified, as the process has not yet been implemented. Consequently, it is not possible to set mandatory requirements in accordance with the project results in LoU procurements or other procurements. To implement the energy classification in practice, rules and processes must now be clarified, and practical experience must be gathered. In this regard, the Lågan initiative plays an important role.
