Our Stockholm warehouse at Globen celebrated the completion of its 93-meter-long move yesterday

Summer was just around the corner, so 623 construction workers headed out the door instead when the Globen Depot was inaugurated. With that, we celebrated the merger of Little Globen and Västberga into new, fresh facilities. Here, Alexander Göthberg, site manager, and the whole team have done a fantastic job getting everything ready.

The confetti has settled, and a sigh of relief settles alongside it. Months of hard work—trying to “carry on as usual” while getting everything in order—came to a close in true Rentaanda style with an opening ceremony. Today, the day after, everything is back to normal—albeit with heads held high and a weight lifted off our shoulders. The depot is finished, and a huge crowd came out to celebrate the move.

– This is a long-awaited move with facilities we’ve been longing for. Sure, it’s been a hectic few days and we’ve been working our butts off, but without the help from the rest of the organization—which came together from all corners of Sweden—it wouldn’t have turned out this well. It’s on days like these that you realize just how big we really are,” says Alexander Göthberg, site manager at Renta Globen.

We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Bajen, AIK, and Djurgården for the autographed jerseys and tickets to this summer’s matches, as well as all the equipment suppliers who showcased their new products. Thank you!

Benito’s Workshop and Adrian’s Enduring Faith in Bajen

As we wrote earlier this year, the new facility is better suited for equipment rental, and with Benito from the Västberga depot, we’re putting together a really strong team at Slakthusgatan 22.

“Benito’s organization is incredible, and with Fida, Mosa, and Frida, it’s probably one of the strongest quartets in the country. Adrian can handle any challenge you throw at him, and Mikael can fix any machine. Then our salespeople are constantly rushing in and out from all their meetings and customer events. But the ones who really bring the shop to life are our customers. They’re the best,” Alexander concludes.
