The Globendepån in Stockholm is set to move – 93 meters
The search for parking at the Globen Depot will soon be over. At the turn of the year, we’ll receive the keys to Slakthusgatan 24 (we’re currently at 22). And in addition to larger (1,800 square meters) and—after some time—newly renovated spaces, a wash bay, and a workshop, accessibility for all customers will improve significantly.
It’s early in the morning, and many of us are eager to see the new facilities. The planning is well underway, and CEO Joacim thinks the information desk should go there; Business Developer Per visualizes the flow of traffic; and Site Manager Alexander listens intently but also chimes in: “That’s where the coffee corner should be.”
“Everyone at the depot is thrilled; we haven’t invested in the same way in the facilities we’ve been using for the past six years. But at the No. 24 site, we’re going to build proper facilities. A wash bay, workshop, customer area, and staff areas—everything will be upgraded,” says Alexander Göthberg, site manager at Renta Globen.
Housewarming Party in Spring 2025
We’re doing everything we can to complete this major renovation and move by spring 2025. You’re warmly invited to the grand opening. It will be a celebration featuring a dozen equipment suppliers, contests, and prizes—but above all, it will be an opportunity to see how we’ve transformed the space into our own.
“All well and good that it’s new and fresh, but accessibility is what really matters here—we’re moving from the basement to above ground. We’re looking forward to that,” Alexander concludes.
