At the turn of the year, Västberga will merge with the Globen Depot in Stockholm
In February, we’ll get the keys and start moving into the larger facilities at Slakthusgatan 22, near the Globen. As part of this, we’ll be moving both our equipment and staff from the Västberga depot and the current Globen depot, and we’ll be preparing the entire new depot for the grand opening this spring.
Two years ago, we announced that we would be opening a small depot in an old garage in Västberga. At the same time, the Globe Depot had been looking for larger premises, and when the property at Slakthusgatan 22 became available, the region saw an opportunity to merge the two smaller depots.
– The depots have always worked closely together, and we’ve seen how this has increased traffic to the Globen depot. “This is a natural evolution in our company’s journey, and we’re bringing everything from Västberga—all the equipment and all the staff—and they’ll be part of building the new Globen depot from the ground up,” says Thomas Robertsson, Regional Manager at Renta Stockholm.
Renta is expanding in the Stockholm area
The construction industry has slowly begun to pick up steam as in the good old days, and things are really picking up in manufacturing and road construction. Renta Stockholm is showing growth again this year, and with 9 depots throughout the Stockholm area, we’re available to all builders and contractors, regardless of the project. We constantly strive to deliver the very best service, with well-maintained equipment delivered on time. No matter where your job is located. And this spring, we’re looking forward to the grand opening of our new Globe depot—details about the event will be shared closer to the date. But mark your calendars for the entire spring for now.
