A parade of palm trees as Trelleborg’s new facilities were inaugurated

The City of Palms treated us to summer, and we treated everyone to a barbecue. With a dozen suppliers, 539 construction workers, and about 30 of us, the new facilities were officially opened. Our southernmost depot, Trelleborg, is now open!! Now that the celebration dust has settled, you’re warmly welcome back to Truckvägen 1.

Trelleborgs FF challenged us in a trick shot contest, Berlex Traffic Systems in a radio-controlled car race, and Palmstaden’s floorball team challenged us in both power shots and precision shooting. But the best part of all was the turnout. Some people came for both breakfast and lunch, while others stopped by during the short break they could spare—and regardless, we’re so grateful for the warm welcome. Now we’re truly ready to support the city in all its exciting projects.

“It’s been a busy few days, but also wonderful ones. Now we’re going to build on this warm welcome and deliver on our promises,” says David Svärd, site manager at Renta Trelleborg.

Trelleborg is growing, and so are we with Trelleborg

Located along the beautiful coastline and nestled close to the Söderslätt landscape, the city is expanding with its largest urban development project ever. The new RoRo port was inaugurated in April of last year, and construction is now beginning—first on the ring road and then on a massive 180-hectare logistics center. At the same time, the Kuststad 2025 project is moving full steam ahead across a full 50 hectares along the coastline. Here, 7,000 homes will be built, along with a 5-kilometer-long coastal pier and expansive sandy beaches. We now look forward to being close by and contributing to all the exciting projects that lie ahead for Trelleborg’s future.

“This project has been brewing for many years and has been the subject of many long conversations at dinner tables and in town squares. It’s a proud and exciting time to be a resident of Trelleborg. The fact that we’re now also stepping up our presence in the town and establishing ourselves here feels both thrilling and logical,” says David Svärd.

Acrinova renovated the premises

Last spring, Acrinova constructed the building in accordance with its “Zero Vision” initiative and in compliance with the Sweden Green Building Council’s Silver category. Heating is provided by an air-to-water heat pump, and the building’s roof is equipped to accommodate solar panels.

“We’ve had a very good dialogue with Acrinova throughout the entire process, and together we’ve created a space that’s perfectly tailored to our business. It turned out so well,” David concludes.
