Infrakraft manages traffic using Renta
When Infrakraft in Malmö replaces the drinking water pipes on Linnégatan in Limhamn , the work is being done in stages and in accordance with Renta’s traffic management plan. Spring always comes early to Malmö, and this weekend’s opening match of the men’s Allsvenskan soccer league certainly reminds us all of how well things are going in the “City of Parks.” This is also true for Infrakraft, which has been entrusted with replacing the nearly 100-year-old water mains that have run beneath Linnégatan (!) and building bus stops along that same street for MalmöExpressen’s Bus Line 4.

Renta Implements Traffic Closures in Strict Accordance with the Rules of the Art
On Linnégatan, we primarily use TA beams to protect bystanders and workers, since they do not tip over as easily as crowd barriers; as a result, we also meet the requirements set by the City of Malmö.
“We develop traffic management plans in full compliance with municipal regulations and the Swedish Transport Administration’s guidelines. Then we set them up, make adjustments, and conduct ongoing checks to ensure that everything is as it should be,” says Johan Huhle, traffic installation manager at Renta Skåne.
