Jonas is setting up our on-site warehouse for the NOVO Energy project

We’re finally able to announce that we’re now putting together the team that will staff our on-site depot at the massive NOVO Energy project in Torslanda, Gothenburg. We’ll be getting started in earnest in February, and we need your help. Right now, we’re looking for a workshop manager who wants to service machinery and an internal sales representative who wants to support 1,500 construction workers. Want to be part of one of Western Sweden’s biggest challenges?

For decades, Jonas Mårtensson has provided the residents of Kungälv with the right machine at the right time. And since joining Renta, he has served as site manager in his hometown. Drawing on Jonas’s experience, we’ve spent the fall developing a plan to support the NOVO Energy project in the very best way possible.

“Projects like these don’t grow on trees, and I’m incredibly excited to get started and provide all our subcontractors with the service that has made us famous. We’ve laid the groundwork and established the structure; now we need to add two more team members to start with. Two people who want to dive right into a challenge and a daily routine we can’t predict,” says Jonas Mårtensson, site manager at Renta’s on-site depot at the NOVO Energy project.

Why You Should Come Along

For 3–4 years, you’ll be part of a construction project whose story your grandchildren will want to hear over and over again. From “when nothing works” to when everything is finished. From the mud in October to the ice cream in May. Early mornings, fast-paced work, and freshly serviced lifts. Time will fly by, you’ll feel it—and you’ll always be remembered as the team player who gave it your all for the project. For the team.

Bring your drive, your hunger, and your “can-do” attitude, and apply for the project today. Right away. Right here, right now!

Background: Volvo Cars and Northvolt Are Building a Battery Plant in Gothenburg

Volvo Cars and Northvolt have chosen Gothenburg as the site for the construction of a new battery plant, which is expected to begin operations in 2025. The plant will create up to 3,000 new jobs.

Construction of the factory began in 2023, and it will produce next-generation advanced battery cells, specially developed for use in the next generation of all-electric Volvo and Polestar cars.

The factory will have a potential annual cell production capacity of up to 50 gigawatt-hours (GWh), which is equivalent to batteries for nearly half a million cars per year.
