Västervik has always been orange
The vendors had barely finished setting up before the Västervik builders rolled in. At 9:00 a.m.: 187 breakfast guests. Four hours later, the Västervik crew was catching their breath after some traffic congestion, 543 scavenger hunt participants, and an incredible job cleaning up the depot. But at the same time, one thing was clear: this crew has always been orange.
Christmas is just around the corner, and Mathias—who has been the site manager here in Västervik for 23 years—looks back on the fall. He’s been with Renta for two months now, but before that he was part of the Gustafsson team. When the partnership was finalized at the end of the summer, the rest of Renta understood why. Because here, they’ve always worked as Renta. They’ve always driven their own development and have always been close to the city’s community builders.
“We have a strong sense of unity and really work for one another. The merger with Renta has exceeded all expectations. We’ve received a lot of support while also making a difference,” says Mathias Lindberg, site manager at Renta Västervik.
We are now replacing our phone system—with Calles’ expertise
A clear example is our current rollout of a new telephone switchboard that will help us improve. Calle Lindvall’s ideas and extensive experience are guiding our entire transition.
– It’s kind of funny, actually, because when we merged, I thought my influence would be drastically reduced. A large company with lots of middle managers. But I’ve never even seen them—because they don’t exist. Instead, I get to talk directly with the consultant who’s implementing the system, and we work out the best settings for our specific business,” says Calle Lindvall, inside sales representative in Västervik.
Three inaugurations in four days
Now that the propane has burned out in Västervik, we’re thrilled that so many people stopped by—and stayed to chat. They talked with each other, with industry colleagues, with suppliers, and with us. Thanks for all the cheers! Yesterday in Oskarshamn. Today in Västervik, and once everyone’s done celebrating St. Lucia’s Day, we’ll be holding the grand opening in Vimmerby. On Thursday!
