Renta Opens a Branch in Timrå
It’s in Timrå where it’s all happening. And wherever Sweden is being built, that’s where we are. With the E4 right next door and SCA Arena just a stone’s throw away, we’re looking forward to opening our depot at Terminalvägen 6. The team is coming together, and the machines have been ordered. Now we just need to get the keys, get the space ready, and then we’ll invite you to a spectacular grand opening.
Brynäs legends Tommy Sjödin and Inge Hammarström, Timrå IK captain Anton Lander, and a whole host of great artists have put Timrå on the map over the years. With just under 18,000 residents, this town in Medelpad is Sweden’s 113th-largest city and will thus become our 62nd depot.
There are a lot of exciting things happening in Timrå and the surrounding area. And given our ambition to expand nationwide, Timrå is the right place at the right time. You may have read this before and recognize the pattern in our “expanding to a new city” news: but there’s no smoke without fire—and that holds true here as well.
“We’ve been supporting builders in Timrå from our Sundsvall warehouse for a long time, and once we were offered this space, we were ready to go. There are great opportunities here, and we’ve already finalized arrangements with salespeople,” says Tommy Johansson, regional manager for Central Norrland, adding:
– The Timrå depot will be compact yet quite spacious inside, with 275 square meters dedicated to customer reception, a wash bay, and a workshop, while the 4,500-square-meter yard will provide plenty of space. In other words, the Timrå depot will complement the Sundsvall depot well, and vice versa.
Significant growth
A battery factory, housing—does that sound familiar? Could it be that Timrå’s growth is slipping under your radar in favor of major projects in other cities? Our goal is to be there regardless of a project’s size, from brush clearing to a factory that employs thousands of Timrå residents.
But first, we’re looking forward to the SHL getting back underway. The season opener is tonight!
