Have a fun-filled summer!
Summer is finally here again, and once more our national KAM, Magnus Lundberg, wishes us all a crazy-good summer—because this summer greeting is actually for you, all you crazy equipment renters—for those of you who dare to rent from us and who trust our word: we’re the challengers in the industry, and to make a difference, you simply have to be different (read: throw yourself off a cliff in a makeshift raft and fly into the Göta River).
Is that silly? Or is it just our way of saying: now we’ll even help you move water. Because we’ve got pumps now. Big ones, small ones, and everything in between. So whether you need to lower the water table, install a couple of sheet pile cassettes, or create a 100-meter-long water channel, we’ve got an instructional video for the latter.
“Absolutely amazing—what a feeling. Everyone should get to try this,” says Magnus Lundberg.
A Matador N and plenty of air hose
Just in time for the stunt that Magnus himself had initiated, our pump expert and business developer, Erik “Pump-Erik” Nordqvist, stepped in. Pump-Erik’s real question was simply how fast Magnus wanted to get down the slope. Sure, he measured, calculated, and drew up the entire specification, but that was all part of the bigger question. So it had to be a bilge pump, the Matador N, which delivers 70 liters per second and 100 meters of 6-inch hose.
– I had barely started when this question came up, and that’s exactly why I took the job. A short while ago, the pump experts at Uprent became part of Renta, and my job now is to launch the product line throughout Sweden. So no matter how you need to move water, we’re ready to help you,” says Erik Nordqvist, pump expert and business developer at Renta.
No one was injured during this stunt
Thanks to his helmet, careful calculations, and Lundberg’s ability to dodge trees, neither he nor anyone else was injured. Instead, we realized that maybe we should build a water park at every depot. But that’s a decision for the site manager at each depot to make on their own. Instead, we’d like to take this opportunity to say thanks for the first half of 2023. Throw something on the grill, and we’ll see you there again when the fall construction season is just around the corner. Until then, have a great summer!
