Faluorange Depot – Opening This Summer

Things move fast in hockey. The ink on the lease for the property—located in the heart of Falun’s industrial area—has barely had time to dry before we’re rushing out this announcement. Because we need local experts who want to help build up Renta in the city and make it their own. When will we get the keys to 13 Ingarsvägen? As early as May.

The Falun Mine, the ski jumps, and the Carl Larsson Farm (just outside town). Falun is one of Sweden’s treasures, and one of my favorite stories from there is undoubtedly the one about Kåre the goat who got red horns. Deep in the forest, the farmer discovered that Kåre was rubbing his horns against the ground at the edge of a marsh; the soil there was reddish, and when the farmer began to dig, he saw the rock shimmering and gleaming. He had found a very rich ore deposit, and according to legend, this is how the site where the mine stands today was discovered.

Renta is coming to Falun, a city on the rise

A new bandy and ice rink is to be built at Lugnet in Falun, along with numerous apartment buildings throughout the municipality and a wind farm with 18 turbines. We’ve been transporting equipment back and forth from Borlänge for some time now, but demand is too high, and we’ve long been hoping for a location in Falun.

“I don’t know how many times we’ve visited Falun, talked to builders, and looked for a location. It feels really good that we now have a location we can fill with the equipment that Falun’s builders need most of all. At the same time, the most important work—the work I need help with—is underway, and that’s finding the local experts who want to make Renta Falun their own,” says Marcus Haag, regional manager for southern Norrland.

Why Renta?

In just four years, the idea that a group of small, local equipment rental companies would unite on a national level has become a reality, with 58 depots (59 including Falun!) now doing everything they can for their local communities. At Renta, we know that great freedom fosters commitment. A commitment that unites us. That’s why individual freedom is central and our focus is local. But just as central are our customers—our number 10. It’s thanks to them that everything runs smoothly, and it’s them who have helped us evolve to retain the charm of a small company even as we’ve gained the muscle of a large one. With 59 depots throughout Sweden, we’ve come together under the same banner—equipment rental companies that believe in the same things. Companies that care. About the local builder and the surrounding community, all the way to the national developer and Sweden as a whole. About each other—and about you.

The Falun Team

At Renta, it’s the branches that call the shots, and quick decisions are made right over the counter. Are you a “yes” person who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves? Is “I’ll take care of it!” your mantra? After all, we’re nothing without our customers, and we place the highest value on their wishes and preferences. With service, quality, and accessibility, we hope to attract not only them—but you, too. Want to step in and make Renta Falun your own? Great, because here are our open positions:
