Lund is moving 400 meters to larger facilities and a courtyard
A few short steps for the depot, but a giant leap for Lund Construction. The new yard is six times as large, and on top of that, there’s an 800-square-meter facility. A truck with a trailer will easily be able to turn around in there, and the yard will be filled with rollers, boom lifts, and staff vans. “When will we get kebabs?” you’re probably wondering. We’re tentatively planning for June, but we’re working on moving it up.
It’s been almost exactly three years since we opened our current warehouse in the university town of Lund. And we’ll continue to be located in the same industrial area, Gastelyckan—even on the same street. We’re just changing our address from number 9 to 21 on Skiffervägen.
“We’ve outgrown our current space, and the move will be a huge boost for both us and our customers. “Just the fact that a truck with a trailer will be able to turn around, and we’ll have room for all the large construction equipment that contractors ask us to provide,” says Magnus Stenberg, sales representative at Renta Lund.
Start Date: April 7
We’ll be making some adjustments to the customer reception area and doing a few minor outdoor touch-ups. After that, the move will proceed on a rolling basis. Business will continue as usual, and the paddles will serve as a sort of indication that we’ve moved—once they’ve been vibrated away, you’ll know that number 21 is the new address.
“Our goal is to celebrate our new location before summer really kicks into high gear, and the best way to follow the renovation is by following Renta Lund on Instagram,” concludes Linus Hylén, regional manager for Renta Skåne.
