Elmontage in Rosersberg delivers on its promises

In the industrial hub of Rosersberg, our seven electricians meet up early every weekday morning before quickly spreading out across the Stockholm region to deliver on their promises. They have everything from El-VIS to each other and Fluke to help them, and they’re led by none other than the electrical installation supervisor, Douglas Wirell.

Outside, the night’s frost clings to everything it can reach, but inside the depot, the electrical installation team is working at full speed, and before they’ve even finished their coffee, Johan Andersson and Zuhir Mikhail are on their way out to install an electrical panel for the construction of Sellpy’snew warehouse. Come along.

Back for breakfast, and under Douglas’s leadership, the day’s projects are assigned. As the electrical installation supervisor, he naturally oversees the wiring and steps in where needed. With his background in sales and the electrical industry, he knows what promises are often made—and how to deliver on them.

– We know what we’re doing, and if we don’t, we’ll find a solution as a team. So it’s good that we’re pushed—if we’re challenged a bit, we get the chance to rise to the occasion. Then we do everything we can to demonstrate our professionalism, performing all calculations in El-VIS and conducting megger tests with Fluke.

How Renta Elmontage Works

From the initial inquiry to the finished project, close communication is the most important thing of all. To minimize misunderstandings and simply clarify our commitment, we draw up plans and perform all calculations—in black and white—using the El-vis calculation program.

– An industry standard that provides precise measurements and clear expectations. On small projects, it’s easy to overlook, but on larger projects, we get confirmation of cable cross-sectional area, parallel cables, and cable runs. A requirement from the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority and a quote that shows all parts of the overall picture.

We test the installation before commissioning it by performing continuity tests using Fluke’sTruTest.

– We check that the cable is intact, that it isn’t in contact with any conductors, and that it can withstand the voltages: proof that we’ve performed a proper installation. We also check that the ground fault circuit interrupters are working. All of this data is displayed digitally in Fluke’s app, which we save to the work order. This way, the customer can easily view all the documents in one place,” says Johan Andersson, foreman at Elmontage Renta Rosersberg.

The team behind it promised

With Douglas at the helm and Johan—the group’s “dad”—they lead a team of four electricians. Brayan, the epitome of Chilean calm, handles direct communication with the customer while workhorse Joakim quietly gets the job done. Right in the thick of it is our seasoned backpacker (currently hiking in Brazil), Mansour, keeping things running smoothly. Gustav is the fresh-out-of-school newbie who, together with Zuhir—the joker of the group—is not only developing at record speed but also helping the group grow.

“It might sound like a cliché, but we’re a great group. To put it simply: if you put the bucket down and pull the cable, one or more of us will come out and splice it,” Douglas concludes.
