The fully battery-powered Avant e6 wheel loader
The most important machine this Christmas is definitely the Avant e6 electric wheel loader. It’s perfect for indoor use where ventilation is limited or nonexistent—because Santa’s sleigh got stuck in the chimney—and where there are noise restrictions. After all, we don’t want to wake the kids up too early.
Avant was among the first manufacturers to introduce a fully electric, battery-powered skid-steer loader to the market. A fully electric loader with zero emissions and extremely low noise levels is the answer to future demands, and even though it is electric, it offers the same power and performance as its diesel-powered counterpart in the Avant 500 series.
At the same time, the Avant e6 is the first compact loader with a lithium-ion battery. The e6 can be fully charged in just over an hour, and you can work for four hours on a full charge. The short charging time means you can practically work a full workday with the e6, since you can charge the battery during your one-hour lunch break.

Our Electric Machinery Initiative
It’s a charged question, so we’re taking this opportunity to really ramp things up. Across all our product lines, our fleet is becoming increasingly electrified, and in 2023 we’ll be introducing more and more exciting solutions that challenge other fuel types and noise levels.
– On the one hand, electrification reduces fossil fuel emissions, while at the same time the machines improve the work environment. We also see other clear benefits to electrification, such as with the Avant e6 wheel loader, which can remove tiles from large floors in a way that wasn’t possible to the same extent before; nor do we have any trouble hauling away material from large-scale renovation projects, says Anders Wictorsson, product manager for construction machinery and lifts at Renta.
Moving forward, we will primarily electrify all small construction equipment. But on the construction side, we’ll be introducing a 3.5-metric-ton electric dumper early next year.
