Coach Hylén – New Regional Manager in Skåne
He began his career as a teacher and spent several years as a physical education teacher in Ystad in the mid-2000s. There, in those classic school gyms, he laid the foundation for today’s well-known soccer and handball players. Since then, Renta Skåne’s new regional manager, Linus Hylén, has spent nearly 14 years in the equipment rental industry. We say with great respect: Welcome, Coach Hylén.
From promoting various sports to energetic students to driving business development in equipment rental, the leap may not be all that big. Not if you ask Linus.
“Whether you’re setting up cones for a workout or discussing sales goals, the most important thing is to encourage everyone to have fun—and to have fun yourself while doing it. I hope to build on that here at Renta,” says Linus Hylén.
With 10 depots in Skåne and strong demand for Renta’s services, Linus is entering a region and an organization that, like any other company, faces both challenges and opportunities.
– What sets Renta apart is its flat organizational structure, where virtually everyone is expected to go the extra mile rather than just a few managers. There’s a wealth of solid experience in every depot here, and we’ll navigate through peak workloads while building on the strong team spirit that already exists. To put it simply: it’s when we all pull together that the load is distributed evenly. If I ask you if you need help, I’m firmly convinced that you’ll ask me the same question—and that’s what this is all about: helping each other move toward and reach our goal.
He has lifted 200 kg in the deadlift, has a heart that beats for light blue (MFF), and a leadership style that speaks for itself rather than needing to be described here. Except for one important detail:
