The Linköping depot has grown ten (!) times larger
The asphalt on the driveway had barely had time to dry when one supplier after another showed up for the grand opening of the Linköping depot. Today, 385 construction workers came to 14 Attorpsgatan to see both them and our new facility in the city. It’s a full ten times bigger than the old one!
A year ago, we merged with Byggmaskinergruppen, which has been renting out machinery in the region since the 1970s, and we quickly declared that Linköping deserved a new depot. And today, we were finally able to host the grand opening, where Husqvarna showcased its massive cutters, Hikoki its electric hand tools, KH-maskin its Wacker Neuson compactors, and Aros Catering served up kebabs.
In addition, El-Björn showcased its electric bags, lamps, and heaters, and Infobric demonstrated its smart ID06 solutions. As you can see, the yard was almost full, but, as I said, there’s plenty of space here, so TSR Elsite also took the opportunity to showcase its electric generators, and MMExo demonstrated both how its ergonomic frame makes work easier and how the ergonomic mixer both improves efficiency and reduces the risk of injury.
“It’s really fun to hang out at this cool depot today and meet all the cheerful Linköping builders. I usually work at the Norrköping depot, but there are still some familiar faces here since we have a great working relationship between the depots. Of course, it’s especially fun to showcase our significantly more extensive product range here. It really drives home the point that we’re serious about our commitment to accessibility,” says David Fritiof, site manager at Renta Norrköping.
