Renta Group – The People Behind the Words
You’ll often hear us speaking in dialect. Sometimes, as above, in perfectly timed English. This is Renta, too—joined by our orange friends in Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Poland. We’re the Renta Group, and we’re here to challenge and simplify the entire rental industry.
The whole Renta idea is pretty simple. Like-minded people got together, and apparently there were quite a few of us who saw things the same way. We’ve been in the game for a long time, but we’ve only been united as a group for six years. So it’s no surprise that our video—which is meant to capture everything we do, everything everyone strives to deliver every day—includes a lot of common sayings.
Clichés are words that aren’t put into practice
We may have ambitions and inspiring words on the walls, but it’s when the rain is pelting us in the face that we truly “live up” to those words. When things go wrong. When we’ve sent out the wrong machine and are flooring it all the way home. When our cell phone is so hot we could fry an egg on it. When the machine finds its way and gets put to use.
In English, it can easily sound bombastic and high-flown, but seriously, how are we supposed to sum up five nations, over 100 depots, and more than 1,000 employees? With a single word that describes them all? Impossible. So instead, you’ll find the words that describe Stig in Sunne at the 0:18 mark, Pietro in Sollentuna at the 0:39 mark, Anton at the 1:21 mark, and Michael in Gothenburg at the 1:25 mark.
