The E10e features state-of-the-art, maintenance-free lithium-ion battery packs with an advanced management system, designed to fit into a standard machine cab and maintain the machine’s ZTS profile. The E10e can operate on a daily 8-hour shift and utilises operator breaks to charge the batteries. Thanks to an external super-charger function, the batteries can be charged to 80 per cent of their capacity in around one hour. The battery can also be charged overnight using the built-in charger, connected to a standard 230 V mains supply. Furthermore, the new machine is easy to maintain and safe to use – thanks to its exclusive use of low voltages, the operator does not need a special licence to operate the E10e.
