All of our (Rentas) depots are now ISO-certified for quality and environmental management

How proud can you be? Very proud, if you ask Rebecca Långström, Quality and Environmental Manager at Renta Sverige. Finally, all 41 of Renta’s depots are ISO-certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

So what does that mean, you’re wondering? Well, it means a lot of good things—especially for our customers. It’s proof that we have an effective system for ensuring high quality and strong environmental performance; it means we have confirmation that we’re doing things right.

In the summer of 2018, Renta began its journey toward ISO certification for all of its depots—after all, why settle for certifying only the parent company? For us, it’s important that everything is implemented at all levels, at all depots. By early 2020, 15 depots were certified, and now, just in time for the end of the year, all 41 depots are certified.

For Renta, the certification at our depots has meant that the organization has received training on how to implement management systems and continuous improvement. This has enabled us to ensure that customers always receive the highest quality, regardless of which Renta depot they choose to rent from. We also make sure to minimize our environmental impact as much as possible, both through the choices we make and the activities we carry out within our own operations, as well as by offering our customers the best eco-friendly options.

Renta is proud to have received recognition that we’re on the right track, but our commitment doesn’t end there. Renta will continue to invest in continuous improvement and environmental initiatives—we always strive to do better!
