Tegelfogen keeps track of the temperature with Renta Easy+
Christmas is just around the corner as Tegelfogen renovates the windows and facade of Sockerbruket. The temperature must not fall below 5 degrees—a requirement that must be documented to ensure that the concrete cures properly. For centuries, Sockerbruket’s significance and value have made it a gathering place for the people of Gothenburg.
It was in the spring of 1808 that industrialist Abraham Robert Lorent had Sockerbruket built at Klippan in Gothenburg. Now that Tegelfogen has been commissioned to improve the windows and facade, it is important that the temperature never drops below 5 degrees. With sensors and real-time reporting in the Renta Easy+ app, Anders Nilsson can report the temperature for the entire project period once it’s complete, and throughout the project he receives alerts and notifications so that he and his crew can act quickly.
– It’s really great, and it’s not just the data I get—we also have a sensor on the tank that tells us exactly how many liters are left in the diesel tank. “The data from these sensors also allows us to continuously regulate the temperature, which helps us save money on heating since we know exactly what temperature we have and need for the plant to cure,” explains Anders Nilsson, site manager at Tegelfogen.
