ByggDialog Builds Sustainably—Through Collaboration
In November, the groundbreaking ceremony , and despite the harsh winter—the framework is now being erected for what will become Lilla Edet’s next community hub, but primarily Fuxernaskolan’s new sports hall. ByggDialog is leading the project, and we’re there to provide support when it’s needed most.
ByggDialog is making a major investment in Trestad and has been entrusted with the construction of the New Fuxerna Hall in Lilla Edet. This facility will be available for use by both Fuxerna School students and the entire community in Lilla Edet as early as the turn of the year. At the same time, it is being built with its own electricity, sewage, and water supply systems so that it can also serve as one of the municipality’s emergency shelters. This means the hall will be able to function as a gathering place should a major crisis occur.
– Sports are incredibly important for our well-being, and it feels especially good that we’re also building the New Fuxerna Hall as a safe haven. “In the event of serious or prolonged disruptions to daily life—such as a widespread power outage—you can come here to warm up, get drinking water, and perhaps something to eat,” says Jens Widman, site manager at ByggDialog.
Honesty is the best policy
The foundation slab was laid during the height of winter in windswept Västergötland. The frost-cutting equipment and vacuum trucks have served us well, and the dialogue between Markus Twillman and Jens Widman has been just as crucial as the relationship between our Trollhättan-based team and the subcontractors on the construction site.
“The goal of the project has been—and still is—to coordinate both materials and machinery from Trollhättan. The school bell and a scissor lift from a couple of weeks ago are perfect examples of this,” says Markus Twillman, site manager at Renta Trollhättan.
When ByggDialog builds sustainable buildings through collaboration, they constantly strive for honest dialogue and a shared goal for everyone involved.
“We take our social responsibility seriously and, from the design phase through final inspection, we consider how we can best meet the increasing sustainability requirements. “As a company and a builder, we want to grow alongside our partners and clients—and simply put, grow wisely,” says Jens Widman, adding:
– Your digital tool, Renta Easy, is exciting because it lets us see exactly how much CO2 each machine has emitted. We can also export a carbon footprint report to include as an appendix to our sustainability report.
