The Eskilstuna Depot is moving to Fraktgatan 4

We have literally outgrown the property at Gustafsvägen 7 , and our goal now is to celebrate Christmas at Fraktgatan 4. Via the main artery in Byggtuna, you’ll be able to reach us even more easily at the new property, which is fully tailored to our needs. Just listen to this: we’ll be able to hold training sessions in the new space, and trucks will be able to maneuver in the yard.

This is a time of construction, and here Bogårdsnäs —with support from P Karlsson Schakt—has prepared the site, LLentab has erected the steel frame, and NJ Elinstallation has wired the property. To keep the air moving, Klimatvård has provided us with top-notch ventilation, and the professionals at HMB are handling all the fine carpentry. The painters haven’t touched up the facade yet, but we know that Tommy Petterson’s painting crew is ready to go.

“Everything has gone incredibly smoothly, and we’re so grateful for the help we’re getting here now that we have a larger workshop, a great yard, and nice spaces,” says Joakim Jonsson, site manager at Renta Eskilstuna.

Heard that one before? The old place was too cramped

There are currently 12 of us living at Gustafsvägen 7, and the lack of space has certainly forced us to get creative. But it has also been a challenge for far too long. Housing and a school are being built in and around the Slakthus area in general, and the Munktellgaraget area in particular. At the same time, we’ve found a lot in a perfect location. Just one side street off the main thoroughfare, Mått Johanssons väg, you’ll find us right in the thick of it: at Fraktgatan 4. Just in time for Kalle on Christmas Eve.

– It feels really great to be right in the thick of things, and of course, the move will make for a hectic Christmas for us. But it sets us up perfectly for a flying start in 2026, when we’ll also be hosting an opening party not too long after the move,” Joakim concludes.
