Fredrik Svanestrand has been appointed purchasing manager for the entire Renta Group

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Fredrik Svanestrand to the position of Group Fleet and Procurement Manager. He will be responsible for coordinating procurement across all eight countries. With a strong background in leasing and procurement, Fredrik is ready to drive the company’s fleet strategy and ambitious goals forward.

The position of Fleet and Procurement Manager is a new one at Renta Group, and Fredrik will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s fleet strategy. In day-to-day operations, he will lead the Group’s procurement, ensure technical development, ensure capacity and sustainability in the supply chain, and be responsible for fleet-related reporting. Fredrik will join the Group Management Team (GMT) and report to the CEO.

“Throughout the entire process, I’ve been very impressed by everyone I’ve spoken with. It feels both exciting and challenging, and I can’t wait for January,” says Fredrik Svanestrand.

Fredrik’s work experience is ideal for the position, including several years in equipment rental (Ramirent) and at leading OEM manufacturers (Volvo Cars, Kone). He joins Renta from his current position as Category Director at Swedbank.

– Fredrik is the ideal candidate to lead our fleet operations at the Group level. His experience and deep understanding of fleet-related matters will help us operate our large fleet of machinery in an efficient and sustainable manner. Let’s all extend a warm welcome to Fredrik at Renta,” says Kari Aulasmaa, CEO of Renta Group.

Renta thus remains committed to driving positive change and delivering value to its customers, employees, and the communities we serve. And we extend a warm welcome to Renta!
