Implenia Signs a New Long-Term Contract with Us

The ink has barely had time to dry, but they’ve already proven themselves perfectly suited for the No. 10 role. One of our No. 10s, Implenia—which loves building challenging infrastructure—has extended its agreement with us.

Here at Renta, we have been supporting the tunneling experts at Implenia since 2019, and we are now proud to announce an extension of our agreement as an equipment supplier to these infrastructure builders, through April 2024.

“We’ve clearly seen that Renta wants to be part of building challenging projects, and we’ve been satisfied from the start. Our machinery department works closely with Renta, both in Stockholm and Varberg,” says Peter Claesson, Area Manager for Varberg South at Implenia.

Implenia likes green playing fields (the environment) and navigating tight, tactical game situations (they tunnel their way through), and the projects we’re currently supporting them with in terms of construction sites and machinery are:

  • The bus terminal in Katarinaberget, Stockholm
  • The Mountain Tunnels in Johannelund, Stockholm
  • The Lund Tunnels, Stockholm
  • New Södra Hagalund Metro Station, Stockholm
  • Renovation of the Getingsmidjan Rail Network, Stockholm
  • The power transmission tunnel between Anneberg and Skanstull, Stockholm
  • The Little Lidingö Bridge
  • The West Coast Line, Varberg

“Their approach to quality is fully in line with ours, and we’ve always felt that this should be an open-ended agreement. At the very least, we’ll do everything we can to ensure this partnership never ends,” says Johny Karlsson, sales representative at Renta Varberg.
