The Lidköping Depot has opened

This past summer, we were able to announce how we found the best hub for the entire Skaraborg region, and now, in December, we finally opened the doors to our depot in Lidköping—right in the heart of Gamle Staden, at Sjöhagsgatan 4.

They’re the best at bandy, famous for Rörstrand porcelain, and so fed up with being confused with Linköping that they prefer to call the city “Lidköping by Lake Vänern.” Best of all, though, is that our presence in the city brings the entire Skaraborg region together in the very best way possible.

Our latest addition to Renta is the branch at Sjöhagsgatan 4, and speaking of new additions, we have two new team members with strong local ties: Therese Larsson, an in-house sales representative, and Andreas Svensson, a sales representative. We did a quick Q&A with them (see the video above), but we also sat down and chatted about the concept of local freedom.

– It’s actions that determine the meaning of words. “The fact that I can sell the way we do here in Lidköping and the way I want to—that’s freedom. The fact that we’re also investing in the city and sponsoring team sports here shows that we have the full support of Renta, and it also shows that we’re serious,” says Andreas, and Therese agrees:

– I think, in a way, that’s the most fundamental and important thing. Top-down management isn’t good for anyone, and it doesn’t work in the long run. With all the other teams supporting you rather than standing above you, both your commitment and your freedom grow.
