Mälardalen’s new sales manager has lived many lives
Ever since his youth in Hisingen, Farid Nakhost has been a die-hard fan of Häcken (congratulations on your first Swedish championship!) Since then, the pharmacist has started a soccer club, run several newsstands and gas stations, and, as a soccer coach, laid the foundation for IK Frej’s women’s team. We’re now delighted to welcome his expertise as he takes on the role of sales manager for the entire Mälardalen region.
Ever since he tore his cruciate ligament while playing for Häcken’s U19 team, Farid has sought the same sense of team spirit and camaraderie in various fields. His 25 years of experience in human resources are complemented by UEFA coaching certifications and the moment when he enjoyed a Cuban cigar with JYSK’s founder himself, Lars Larsen, in Larsen’s famous cigar lounge in Aarhus.
The question is why he chose us and what his goal is:
“What drew me to Renta is the trust we have in each other and the direction we’re heading. We’re going to make sure Renta becomes the market leader. It’s not enough to be second best,” says Farid Nakhost, sales manager at Renta Mälardalen.

– Sales are straightforward and therefore simple: it’s all about helping the customer. Identify a need, present a proposal that actually suits the customer, and that’s how the relationship—and the deal—is established. There are no shortcuts here; it’s all about building and nurturing relationships. We need to focus on that even more here in the Mälardalen region,” concludes Farid.
