Capacity Doubled in Norrköping, Which Was Officially Opened Today
One space has become two—and it took 9 months. And what a reception it was! With massive turnout right from the start and a total of 426 community builders in attendance, we officially opened the new and newly renovated facilities at Fabriksgatan 21 in Norrköping today.
Luckily, we’d just built a brand-new workshop when the heavens opened during its grand opening. But before we knew it—one, two, three—both the workshop and the new customer reception area were packed with people.
“Did you notice that the car wash is brand-new, too? We’re doubling our capacity, and everything looks really nice—except for the staff areas. But those will be renovated as well,” says Fredrik “Biggan” Hell, site manager at Renta Norrköping.
The Mälardalen Traffic Authority is also based here
A month ago, Anna, Christian, and Samuel started working here, and together they make up Renta Mälardalen’s traffic management team (TA). They will be part of the Norrköping depot and will also set up their branch office in the newly renovated facilities.
– This is an incredibly exciting assignment and an opportunity to build up our entire traffic management operation. We’re already up and running and aim to grow alongside the projects here in Norrköping and our region. “What do we do? We prepare drawings, apply for permits, and install traffic control measures—all to ensure workplace safety,” says Anna Jigholm, Installation Manager for Traffic Control Measures at Renta Mälardalen.
