North Power AB shares its perspective on service
Of course we get beaten at padel by the people who build padel courts. We certainly had to chase the ball when we faced North Power Stålhallar AB’s strongest players, one of whom was the production manager, Simon Enqvist, a brown belt in jujitsu. We had some coffee afterward—five quick questions—and heard his take on service and straight talk.
Right next door to the headquarters on Albybergsringen in Haninge, the industrial real estate developers have, of course, built the padel hall where we’re meeting; North Power also builds warehouse logistics facilities, car showrooms, and purpose-built halls—all made of steel. They also share a name with Skellefteå AIK’s fan club, which isn’t all that surprising, given that they hail from Norrland and have construction projects all over the country. But enough about the company. What does “service” mean to Simon?
– Availability and quick responses. Most of the time, we need standard equipment, like large diesel scissor lifts and telescopic loaders, but sometimes we’re in a tight spot, and that’s when I pick up the phone with a complicated order. In those situations, a quick, thoughtful response is absolutely crucial.
