Östersund has been inaugurated in its new facilities
The snow crunches beneath the Bobcat, and what was just a couple of weeks ago an empty but newly renovated space is now filled with 978 local builders and suppliers. Östersund invited us to dance, and our warehouse floor was the stage. Thank you. Thank you so much for helping us inaugurate this versatile warehouse.
A warm welcome to the newly opened Östersund location. Here, you’ll walk right into our patented stone counter, and with two quick steps to the left, you’ll find yourself in a warehouse with large, open spaces.
“Here, we’ll create our own workflows and probably redo everything. The space feels easy to work in somehow, and everyone can see everything we have. We call it ‘accessibility,’” says Petra Nyborg, site manager at Renta Östersund.
A workshop and a wash bay, of course, and one floor up, the space is topped off with large training areas where a pentathlon will take place during breaks. Exactly—take place during breaks.
“We’ve set up a hockey goal, we put up the basketball hoop late yesterday, and we’ve already worn out the ping-pong table a bit; we also have a pool table and a foosball table. “We’ve put together an interesting pentathlon that can lighten the mood in the midst of the lift training’s in-depth theoretical sections,” says Larsa Arvidsson, a sales representative at Renta Östersund.
Environmental Technology adapted the space
So who renovated Ahlsell’s old premises at Chaufförvägen 33 in Östersund? MTAB, the Östersund-based construction company that isn’t one for playing it safe and instead takes an active role from the start, regardless of how it supports a construction or renovation project.
“We’ve been in direct contact with Miljöteknik the entire time, and together we’ve created a space that’s fully tailored to our operations. It went smoothly from start to finish, and the result is fantastic,” concludes Tommy Johansson, Regional Manager for Renta in Central Norrland.
