10-TON EXCAVATOR – ELECTRIC The Cat 310 Z-line battery-powered electric hydraulic excavator delivers maximum performance with zero emissions. The all-electric drivetrain ensures low vibration and noise levels and enhances the driving experience, complementing the already brilliant ‘Next Generation’ cab. A pre-heating function ensures the machine is ready for operation when starting in cold weather. The only difference compared to a standard diesel-powered excavator is an additional display that informs the operator of the battery and drive unit status. Identical machine operation in all modes. Fewer moving parts, fewer fluids, fewer filters, lower energy consumption and longer service intervals. The connection to the machine is on the right-hand side, where a Marechal-type connector is used. This is then connected to a standard construction site power socket via an adapter cable with a standard red 400 V / 32 A plug (IEC 60309).
