Alkylate petrol is a fuel that is much cleaner than conventional petrol. The content of harmful aromatic hydrocarbons, such as benzene and other polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), is virtually non-existent.

If you compare the components of an engine that has been run on conventional petrol with those of an engine that has been run on Aspen’s alkylate petrol, the difference is also clearly visible. The engine that has been run on alkylate petrol is much cleaner, whilst the other engine has significantly more soot and deposits in many places.
