Renta Merges with Danish Company Lohke Materieludlejning A/S
Renta is strengthening its position in Denmark through its partnership with Lohke Materieludlejning A/S, which, with five depots (three on Zealand and two in Jutland), serves the Greater Copenhagen area as well as Esbjerg and Aarhus and their surrounding areas. The company has over 90 employees and annual revenue of approximately 200 million DKK.
A year ago, in 2021, Renta stepped in to support the Danish construction sector from its warehouses in Skåne, and with the acquisition of Lohke, Renta has become the fourth-largest equipment rental company in the Danish market.
Exactly as planned
The acquisition is a natural step in Renta’s strategic development and goals: to strengthen its position and presence in Northern Europe. With this acquisition in Denmark—an important market that further diversifies its operations—Renta is now a pan-Nordic company.
Lohke’s locally rooted business model and its long track record of profitable growth make it an excellent acquisition for Renta. Lohke will continue to serve its customers with the same local presence and high-quality service offerings as before, while also benefiting from the implementation of Renta’s groundbreaking digital solutions.
