We (Renta) are helping to build the Biltema warehouse in Halmstad
Together with Kynningsrud Bygg, we are helping to build an 8,000-square-meter warehouse and office complex, where we have been entrusted with providing site facilities and construction equipment. The contract value is approximately 60 MSEK, and the project is scheduled for completion by Easter 2021.
We had a very tight timeline to get set up. From the time Kynningsrud was awarded the contract, it took only a couple of weeks from the initial request to setting up the site offices, electricity, and heating. That’s exactly what we’re good at—making quick decisions and then carrying them out. Kynningsrud Bygg has been awarded the turnkey contract for Biltema Real Estate in Halmstad. The expansion totals 8,000 square meters and includes a warehouse, offices, and a sustainability building. Construction is scheduled for completion by Easter 2021, and the contract value is approximately 60 MSEK. We at Renta have also been entrusted with supplying site cabins, electrical services, construction heating, construction equipment, and lifts. Biltema Real Estate is one of the companies in the Biltema Group. The company is responsible for and manages Biltema’s real estate portfolio.
