Renta Merges with Rondellen
We are strengthening our position in and around the Gothenburg region through our partnership with Rondellen Maskin which, with four depots—in Kinna, Landvetter, Partille, and Varberg—also serves Halland. Rondellen has 50 employees and annual revenue of approximately 130 million SEK.
Since its founding in 2011, Rondellen Maskin has established itself as the obvious choice for construction and civil engineering customers in western Sweden. With its locally rooted business model and long track record of profitable growth, it is an excellent acquisition for Renta. Rondellen will continue to serve its customers with the same local presence and high-quality service offerings as before, while also benefiting from the implementation of Renta’s digital solutions. Their strong market position and experienced management team create a solid foundation for continued growth in the Gothenburg region and Halland.
The partnership covers the two business areas—equipment rental and traffic control systems—and represents a natural step in Renta’s strategic development and goals: to strengthen its position and availability throughout the country.
Renta already has four depots in the Gothenburg region: Kungsbacka, Sisjön, Ringön, and Kungälv. It also has four depots in Halland/West: Borås, Varberg, Falkenberg, and Halmstad.
– We are very pleased to welcome Rondellen to Renta and look forward to working together. The merger with Rondellen Maskin strengthens our position and is a logical step toward our goal of becoming a nationwide equipment rental company in Sweden. “We are pleased to join forces with Rondellen Maskin and look forward to our continued journey,” says Joacim Johansson, CEO of Renta Sweden.
About Rondellen
Rondellen Maskin was founded in 2011 because the founders recognized a need for a one-stop partner—someone who offered both rental and sales services under one roof. Since then, the company has established a strong presence in Kinna, Landvetter, Partille, and Varberg, thanks to its extensive experience in equipment rental and traffic control systems. With a large customer base spanning multiple sectors, Rondellen is on a strong growth trajectory. For more information, visit https://rondellenmaskin.se/
– It’s very exciting that the wonderful journey that I and all my fantastic colleagues have been on at Rondellen will now continue together with Renta. The culture and values that Renta stands for and works hard to uphold are fully in line with Rondellen’s. At Renta, our employees will have the opportunity to continue growing. Through this merger, we’ll also be able to become an even more comprehensive provider for our customers. Here, our solutions for temporary structures, electrical systems, tunnels, and pumping systems will broaden our relevance. The digital solutions developed by Renta are cutting-edge, and Renta Easy will help our customers become even more profitable in all their projects—no project will be too small or too large. The employees at Rondellen will also be able to contribute significantly to Renta’s continued development with their expertise, which I’m very proud of,” says Samuel Lundberg, CEO of Rondellen Maskin.
