Alkylate petrol is a fuel that is much cleaner than conventional petrol. The content of harmful aromatic hydrocarbons, such as benzene and other polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), is virtually non-existent.

If you compare parts from an engine that has been run on conventional petrol with those from an engine that has been run on Aspen’s alkylate petrol, you can also clearly see the difference. The engine that has been run on alkylate petrol is much cleaner, whilst the other engine has significantly more soot and deposits in many places.
