A New and Fresh Start as Sundsvall Was Inaugurated—Again
Our second grand opening in Sundsvall— last time we celebrated the association with LE Maskin, and this time: in brand-new facilities. Together with the city’s builders, we outgrew our old space, and just under a month ago, we made the big move. Today we celebrated with 878 tradespeople. Thank you. We’d also like to thank all our suppliers!
The days leading up to a grand opening are always hectic, with all the meticulous preparations. At the same time, everything has to fall into place, and rental operations have to run smoothly, just as usual.
“It’s been a few long days, but that’s just part of moving. We want to make this a success, and I think we’ve settled into our new home well,” says Jimmy Bergström, site manager at Renta Sundsvall.
Here, we grow together
At the turn of the year, Andreas Rosenius transitioned from his role as site manager to overseeing our industrial customers nationwide, and with the site manager position now vacant, the reliable Jimmy Bergström stepped in at the same time. His first assignment was to move the depot—not exactly on his own, of course, but together with the whole team:
Jimmy Oliv, the field mechanic who also oversees our installations and, in fact, our entire workshop. His cousin, Marcus Oliv, can fix any machine—except for the hand-held ones, which Irena Vilke fixes before they’ve even been returned.
So who’s out in the field when Jimmy’s in charge? Mattias Berg is out there working like crazy, making sure no machine stands still. Another person who’s out there delivering machines to you is Nathalie Westin, and of course, field sales rep Jonte—Jonathan Åhlin—who’s always happy to meet with you and discuss opportunities. A fourth person who plans and sets up traffic closures is the experienced TA expert: Tomas Boväng. And back at the depot, at the counter, and as an inside sales rep, we have the ever-on-the-go Rasmus Högdahl and the father of reliability: Johan Holmgren. This is Team Sundsvall, and they’ve outgrown their old premises and grown together. Now they’re settling in as the opening-day confetti settles into every nook and cranny.
“We’re a great group, and I’m convinced that over time we’ll grow and become even bigger,” Jimmy reveals.
Large storage area and large yard
Here at Mejselvägen 13, there’s room for more and more. The team can grow here, and the back area has space for TA barriers, storage sheds, and all kinds of lifts. You could say, in many ways, that it’s maxed out.
“We’ll also be able to service trailers here in our trailer workshop, and our wash bay has a ceiling height of 5.5 meters, so a giraffe could easily walk through and take a bath,” Jimmy concludes.
