Falun was inaugurated with great pomp and circumstance
A new team, new offices, and a new equipment rental company in town. Today was the day we were welcomed to Falun by 587 builders. Thank you to everyone who came, from exhibiting equipment suppliers to curious industry colleagues. “Finally,” to quote Falun’s site manager, Pontus Magnusson, the rental business is really getting underway.
There’s something special about the moment right after an opening ceremony. When the tables are folded up, the vendors say their goodbyes, and the team of six—who make up the entire Falundepån staff—get a chance to sit down. They look around and take in the fact that they’re finally up and running.
– It’s a really wonderful day, but it’s a bit like passing your driver’s test. Right after you pass your driving test, all you want to do is get out there and drive on your own. Now we just want to get out there and drive, meet the construction crews, handle returns, and really deliver on what we promised,” says Pontus Magnusson, site manager at Renta Falun.
Measurable Renta
In recent years, we’ve developed metrics and established measurable benchmarks for just about everything. Managing your portfolio should be simple, and we strive to give each other the right tools to succeed.
“It was this and Marcus Haag (Regional Manager for Dalarna & Gästrikland) that made me take the job. I’ve always loved diving deep into numbers and optimizing, learning, and understanding. Everything can be measured, and it’s so interesting to be able to draw on all that knowledge now as we’re building up our depot,” Pontus concludes.
Renting should be easy
Have you tried Renta Easy? The digital equipment fleet. Using your phone or computer, you can quickly see which machines are available, which are reserved, and which ones you already have on-site.
