More than three construction machines—we’re now building a brand-new depot in Linköping
A month ago we merged with Byggmaskiner AB and now we’re building a new depot in Linköping together with our new partners, who, in addition to Flygstaden, have depots in Norrköping and Järfälla. The new depot plans to fire up the opening barbecue just in time for summer 2022.
New association = new depot. Not always, but this summer we’re moving our local operations and our construction and earthmoving equipment from Ottargatan to Attorpsgatan in Linköping. A move involving 67 wheel loaders—or three kilometers.
“It’s exciting that we’re now united under the orange banner, and our customers can already take advantage of our expanded product range, more service stations and lifts, and increased availability in the region,” says Torbjörn Jacobsson, Site Manager at Renta Linköping.
The construction equipment group has been renting out machinery since the 1970s, when it all began with oil-fired construction dryers, and it has always maintained depots and a strong presence in industrial areas—close to the professional groups that rent the equipment and with good transportation links.
