Skellefteå has been inaugurated—again!

Time flies, and barely two years ago, we opened at our old address, but today we’re in a space that’s perfectly tailored to our business. To Transportgatan 7 , a total of 1,076 builders gathered to celebrate the fall, life, and our new Skelleftehem.

Last time we mentioned that everyone at the depot was left-handed, but as the team has grown, right-handed people have also joined the ranks. Is that really the most important thing to take away from today’s housewarming party? Maybe, considering we’ve already been living here for four months. But now the ground is paved and the tent is set up. We finally felt completely ready to invite the whole neighborhood over. And what a day it turned out to be! We ran out of candy, had to buy more kebabs, and for a while we wondered where Elina had gone. She was just trying to sort out the coffee line.

“I’m very biased, of course, but I really think we’ve made this place feel like home. It’s so cozy that you don’t really want to leave,” says Elina Bergmark, site manager at Renta Skellefteå.

It could be a problem in Skellefteå if the construction crews get stuck at the depot. At the same time, the facilities here are much larger, and the accessibility of the yard is the biggest improvement—you can drive around as much as you want, and all heavy traffic is out of the way. Our team—Elina, Johan, Linda, Daniel, Joakim, and Hanna—can attest to the larger spaces themselves.

“Right now we’re running around and yelling at each other, and that’s fun, I guess, but one thing’s for sure: we’re going to need walkie-talkies,” Elina concludes.

Who are Renta?

In just six years, the idea that a group of small, local equipment rental companies would unite on a national level has become a reality—with 73 depots today (from Trelleborg to Boden) doing everything they can for their local communities. At Renta, we know that great freedom fosters commitment. A commitment that unites us. That’s why individual freedom is central and our focus is local. At the very center are our customers—our number 10. It’s thanks to them that everything runs smoothly, and it’s they who help us maintain the charm of a small company even as we’ve gained the muscle of a large one. With 73 depots throughout Sweden, we’ve come together under the same banner—equipment rental companies that believe in the same thing. That care. About the local builder and the surrounding community, all the way out to the national builder and Sweden. About each other and about you. You too? We mean, of course: are you coming along?
