Summer Begins in Eskilstuna – New Depot Inaugurated
The music blared out in a major key, and our vendors provided a fitting backdrop for our grand opening at Fraktgatan 4 in Eskilstuna. All the hard work that Joakim and the team have put in over the years really shone through today when 827 builders came to celebrate with us.
An ice cream machine is one thing, an upstairs area you never want to leave is another, and then a courtyard packed with people—that’s a wonderful experience all its own. Cars have been patched up around town, and we apologize for the unintentionally unsightly appearance, but it worked—things really took off here—and we say thank you and sorry.
“I didn’t exactly get the best night’s sleep last night. We’ve been working really hard on the move and getting everything in order, and then preparing for a large turnout—so it was such a relief to see such a great turnout.” I’m grateful and happy for all the flowers and well-wishes, the encounters, and the wonderful people here today,” says Joakim Jonsson, site manager at Renta Eskilstuna.
The Twelve Key Players Behind Our Success in Eskilstuna
We opened at our old location in February 2020, and over the years, our team at the depot has only grown; sometimes our machines barely have time to come in before they’re back out doing their job again. Here, Joakim has built a team that goes the extra mile. You hardly ever see Jonathan from sales at the depot—and that’s just as well; he’s supposed to be out there making things happen. The in-house sales team—Tobbe, Johan, and Max—make sure the right machine is ready when you arrive, and in the workshop, Alexander has set things up so that Anders, Kristoffer, and Nicklas have a very hard time making a mistake. We’re growing despite road closures, and here, Povel-Erik and Veronica have made sure you’re driving the right route and avoiding all the potholes in the city. Of course, we have our yard manager and transporter, Dahniel, to thank for keeping the yard looking so great.
“We really help each other out, and everyone is truly committed to delivering machines that are in perfect working order and spotless—and you can see that from morning to afternoon, day in and day out. We’re nothing without our customers, but we also wouldn’t have been able to deliver on our promises if it weren’t for the team here,” Joakim sums up.
