We held the opening ceremony in Luleå, the “Steel City”
As you know, construction is in full swing along the Lule River. That’s why we opened our doors at the beginning of the year to support Stålstaden’s expansion. Norrbotten, thank you for an opening ceremony that still resonates. Thank you for the warm welcome and for helping us both build the local team and shape the Renta machine lineup at Depåvägen 2.
With a dozen enthusiastic construction equipment suppliers and the return of midsummer heat, we slipped into our second consecutive day of the opening event. Just as we fired up the kebab grill, Load Up North—northern Sweden’s largest construction trade show—got underway. Of course we’re there too, and it’s certainly not a direct conflict. Our opening was more like the pre-party. And that’s exactly how the day turned out. 721 tip walkers. 7. 2. 1. Wow!
“It’s been chaotic. Cars were parked on both sides, and it was hard for those who arrived early to get out. A real success. “I was a little nervous beforehand—would people show up or not? It was crowded, there was a lot of chatter, and the city complained about our real estate signs at the roundabouts,” says Petri Paaso, site manager at Renta Luleå.
