Take care of yourself and your loved ones, and we’ll see you in 2024

How do we sum up a year in which our friends have lost projects and jobs? When times are tough, we cherish those we love even more. And even though we’ve grown in more areas and locations, our relationship with you is the one we cherish most. In 2023 as well as 2024—and beyond.
Let’s look back on the past year from different perspectives. It all began when we opened in Sweden’s closest city (38 cities within a 12-mil radius), as the Enköping depot moved into brand-new facilities. Then we opened in Östersund with great fanfare. It was as if every other person in Östersund knew our site manager, Petra. After that, we sat down with the entire Renta team and sorted through the details. When spring arrived, we joined forces with the powerhouse local Nacka-based company Hyrpoolen. An association that gave the entire Renta Stockholm team an incredible advantage.

When the lilacs were in full bloom, we inaugurated a vibrant Gävle, and in between, we unveiled our various initiatives in Northern Sweden (Luleå and Skellefteå). We held launch events in Västberga, Växjö, and Nacka before Magnus and Erik —in a decidedly unique way—revealed that we now help you with everything related to pumping: bypass pumping, sheet pile systems, and wellpoints (groundwater lowering).

When the vacation was finally over, we held grand opening ceremonies in Falun and Trelleborg before announcing the new locations in Timrå and Boden. Then I went go-karting with the Gustafssons one Saturday—and the club became a reality.

Next, Kungsbacka’s new customer service center, Norrköping’s new workshop and renovated customer service center, and Skellefteå’s temporary facilities were inaugurated. Around St. Lucia’s Day, Oskarshamn, Västervik, and Vimmerby thus turned orange, and we became one with the Gustafssons.

We’re growing together—248 new employees

Things are moving fast, and we’re expanding incredibly quickly across Sweden. We serve the whole of Sweden and have hired local experts in every corner of the country. When Tom joined us last fall, we completed our team of regional managers; with Christer on board, we’re expanding our team of sales managers; and this fall, we’ve formed a five-person Key Account Manager (KAM) team whose primary goal is to nurture our relationship with you. In total, 248 local employees have chosen to join us on this orange journey. And we have an exceptionally strong culture within the company, founded on a great deal of freedom, where our local commitment is crucial and our national collaboration—the fact that we’re united—is the very glue that holds us together. During the year, 74 employees also chose to leave us, and we thank them for everything they’ve done for us. Among them is Tomas, who took his well-deserved retirement this past summer.

I am incredibly proud to be part of this company and the ideas that emerge here—the paths that everyone discovers and the tremendous creativity that drives us forward.

Our range of services is growing by leaps and bounds

One example is our traffic management initiative, which began with a few traffic signs and grew into a traffic management project in both Varberg and Landskrona. This year, it has blossomed into a major nationwide initiative. The same applies to infrastructure, where we overtook the competition this year to become the market leader in tunnel equipment. Pumping, wind power, and construction are now core areas for us. Across the country, we’re growing together with each other and with our customers. Our ambition is to continue growing together and navigate this challenging period in the very best way possible.

First, we’ll take care of our loved ones, then we’ll make sure 2024 is the year everything turned around,
